As an alternative to FDA-approved branded products, where appropriate, a provider may prescribe a compounded drug, which is prepared by a state-licensed sterile compounding pharmacy partner. Although compounded drugs are permitted to be prescribed under federal law, they are not FDA-approved and do not undergo safety, effectiveness, or manufacturing review.

Verve offers a few options for weight loss medications including FDA-approved medications like semaglutide (generic for Ozempic® and Wegovy®) and tirzepatide (generic for Mounjaro® and Zepbound®), as well as generic compounded alternatives when appropriate. Your provider will help determine the best option for your goals and medical history.
FDA-approved medication: Programs start at $145/month, which includes the provider visit and your prescription (does not include cost of medication).
Generic compounded medication: Programs start at $329/month, which includes the provider visit and your medication shipped to your home.
There are no hidden fees, and insurance is not required.
No, our weight loss programs do not require insurance although if your insurance covers GLP medications, we can prescribe with insurance coverage. For individuals who do not have insurance, or insurance-coverage of these medications, we will work with you to find the most affordable option. For other options, insurance is not needed, and your monthly membership includes everything you need to get started.
