Monelle Burrus, FNP-C Provider, Verve Health

Monelle holds over 20 years experience in the healthcare field. Her journey began with a Bachelors of Science in Corporate/Community Wellness Management (minor in business), and careers as a health counselor, employee wellness coach, and personal trainer. Monelle quickly discovered she had a passion for helping her clients improve their lives and regain their health through lifestyle changes and fitness.

Monelle achieved a life-long goal when she was accepted into the Accelerated Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing program at the University of Miami (Go Canes!) and became a Registered Nurse. In her 15 years of working as a Registered Nurse, Monelle has had the pleasure to work in many areas of healthcare including stroke and cardiac, medical-surgical, and joint-replacement units. It was during her time as an RN that Monelle decided she wanted to help her clients proactively rather than reactively; she wanted to help her patients improve their lives even more by reversing health problems.

Monelle earned her Master’s of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts and has completed courses through the Academy of Preventative and Innovative Medicine at Worldlink Medical to become a Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy Provider. This high-quality medical continuing education program empowers healthcare practitioners to provide excellent hormone replacement therapy with competence, skill, and evidence-based practice. Monelle is excited to be able to bring new and innovative therapies to her patients to improve their health and quality of life, and she holds professional certifications allowing her to offer her clients modalities including regenerative medicine, bioidentical hormone therapy, weight loss, and aesthetics including neurotoxins and laser treatments.
Monelle, her husband, and their two daughters live in Bend Oregon and love to spend their time exploring the many beautiful parts of the Pacific Northwest.

Malcolm hails from Telluride, CO where he found a love of the outdoors. After getting his undergraduate degree in Biology at University of Puget Sound, he moved to Bend to be able to have great access to the outdoors and to work in the medical field. He has a passion for helping people get and stay healthy and is the clinic manager here at Verve Health

Reagan Wheeler – F.N.P.

Reagan Wheeler is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a strong passion for health, wellness, and patient-centered care. She holds both a Master of Science in Nursing and a Master of Business Administration, bringing a well-rounded perspective to her clinical practice.

Reagan began her healthcare journey as a Registered Nurse, spending over eight years in the operating room, where she developed a solid foundation in critical thinking, precision, and teamwork. She earned her MSN from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida, and transitioned into advanced practice, now specializing in functional and preventative medicine, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), weight loss management, and regenerative health. She has completed advanced training in both men’s and women’s hormone therapy and is committed to delivering evidence-based, personalized care.

Reagan practices via telehealth, providing flexible, accessible care to patients across multiple states. Her background in fitness and wellness supports her holistic approach to hormone balance, weight management, and overall vitality.

Originally from Missouri, Reagan now lives in Arizona, where she enjoys hiking, Pilates, and spending time with loved ones. She’s passionate about helping others feel their best inside and out.
